The well-known AliExpress trading platform reliably protects its users from force majeure. If you have any ambiguous situation with an order, you can open a dispute. The most common causes of such situations are as follows:

  • product damage, packaging;
  • receiving an item that is not as described in the order;
  • malfunction, visible defects of the goods and others.

You can open a dispute with the seller for an order received or for a product that was not delivered within the guaranteed period of time. The seller or the online marketplace will decide on the outcome of the claim. What to do if you are not satisfied with the result of the dispute review? Is it possible to initiate a second appeal?

It is possible to open another dispute for the same order, but only if the initial review did not reach a decision. If you agreed with the verdict, you will not be able to challenge the decision again.

Instructions for opening a second dispute on AliExpress

To initiate a second dispute, you can use the AliExpress website or mobile app. You can submit a claim within 15 days. The countdown starts from the moment you receive your order.

After this time, you will not be able to open a primary or a second dispute.

Here are step-by-step instructions on how to open a second dispute on AliExpress.

  • Open your account. In the menu on the left, select the “Orders” section.

  • Go to the “Disputes” tab and check for an open dispute with the seller.

  • If you have no pending disputes, go to the “Archive” tab. This is where information about all completed orders is stored.

  • Select the order you want, go to the chat room and click “Create a new dispute”.
  • Choose a reason, fill in the fields, attach photos and videos.
  • The dispute is assigned a number and information about its processing appears.
  • On average, within 5 minutes, information about the dispute appears.

Based on the results of the claim, the seller or the marketplace offers a decision. The buyer can accept it, reject it or cancel the dispute, but before the verdict.
