Both the customer and the seller can close the dispute in case they negotiated everything. AliExpress administration can also close the dispute but it happens rarely, usually, when the dispute is escalated.

How to Close the Dispute in Case the Product Didn’t Arrive
There are two possible decisions if the product didn’t reach the customer and they opened the dispute: to cancel or close it. These are two different scenarios and you need to learn more about both of them to decide which one to choose.
Dispute Cancellation
Opt for this variant in case you didn’t receive the product or received the faulty product. You have already opened the dispute and the seller asks to close it because:
- The product is on its way and soon will get to the post office;
- A new product has been sent.
Agree to cancel the dispute only in case the seller extends your buyer protection. It will allow you to open the dispute again in case the product doesn’t reach its destination.
To cancel the dispute, go to dispute details and click the button in the bottom left corner. Be careful: don’t cancel the dispute if the protection expired!
Closing the Dispute
Close the dispute only when the seller agrees to return the money in full or at least partially. Click “Accept” in the seller’s offer section.

How to Close the Dispute in the AliExpress Mobile App
All the actions in AliExpress mobile app are similar to those on PC. Go to the “My Orders” section and choose the orders that are under the dispute now. If “Product return” is specified here, close the dispute only when you get your money back.
