How to Leave Feedback on AliExpress

Just received the product from AliExpress? Leave your feedback about the seller and the product. This way you will help other customers know if the seller is reliable and whether it is worth to order from him.

Don’t avoid leaving feedbacks. If every customer leaves a feedback, it will help many people make the choice and avoid dishonest sellers.

If you don’t want to leave feedback, imagine that neither do other customers. So how is one going to choose the product? How to know that the seller is reliable and honest? You yourself must make the change you want to see in the world. So don’t forget to leave your feedback on the product and the store on AliExpress.

How to leave feedback on AliExpress after you confirm receiving the order

You can leave feedback only when you click the “Order received” button. AliExpress will automatically offer to leave feedback as you confirm receiving of the order. If you agree, you will get to the feedback page.

If you want to leave feedback but have no time to do it now, don’t worry. AliExpress reserves 30 days for leaving feedback. When you are ready, go to your personal account to “My Orders” section. You will see the “Leave Feedback” button next to the order.

What to Write in Your Feedback

You are supposed to rate the seller on a scale from 1 to 5, write a comment and attach some pictures.

You will have to rate the following points:

  • How product matches its description,
  • How good the seller’s communication skills are,
  • How fast the product was sent.

In your comment you can share your experience of making the order from this seller, about any issues that might have occurred, about the product itself, about the delivery terms and so on. The limit is 1,000 characters. By the way, you can stay anonymous.

Anyway, the feedback will be posted only when the seller checks it. The feedback is published when both you and the seller leave feedback or at the end of the 30 days following the feedback posting. All the feedback that you leave is stored at the “Manage Feedback” section. All your comments and their statuses are collected here.

Don’t forget that after receiving confirmation you can not only leave the feedback, but also withdraw up to 4.91% cashback from AliExpress (if you activated cashback before ordering).

  1. I spend hundreds of dollars ordering products for my boutique. I receive a lot of broken products from different vendors. When you contact AliExpress and go through the proper procedure for a refund they always side for the vendors, even though you send them pictures with the evidence is right before then showing the damaged item. They always respond saying not enough evidence. Everyone should report them through their local attorney’s office as scam artists.

  3. AliExpress stealing money too they did not give back my refund instead the part of the buyer he took the part of the seller now no money I did not get my necklace order that’s not fair I will stop ordering on AliExpress its all fraud!!!!

After I received my product, the abdomen massage waist belt, I couldn’t find how to connect the black belt that goes around my waist and doing online chat with CS, they couldn’t even help me because they don’t understand English well at all. I was on chat with them for over 30 min and all I asked how to connect the belt to me so I can wear this while doing things. They don’t even know how to do that! I asked for my refund and they said ok couple of times then later asked why I want it. It was back and forth and a headache dealing with them. I don’t like the way their customer service handles customers issues. They said they escalated my issue but still no one bothered to contact me. This is a disgusting business I’ve ever dealt with. I will have to file a complaint and or get my refund!!

  5. Bought the star blazers yamota block kit. Very poor quality product isn’t designed well keeps falling apart. I had to glue alot of it together. I can’t even attach the hull of the ship to the frame. If I try to pick the frame up it all falls apart

  6. I’m so annoyed that Ali only gives 30 days. I ordered a wedding dress from an awesome seller, but needed alterations. Now that I’m done — I can’t. I wanted other customers to see the gown when it actually fit me well. I’m now trying to see if the seller I bought from has a FB. Then maybe I can offer them something for being an actually amazing find. I’m so impessed with the quality, because I know it’s hit or miss on marketplaces like this. Some Amazon bot tried ripping off their work.

  9. I’ve found it a little difficult to find computer parts without having to buy whole computers and tearing them apart myself. . I want to start my own business using the computer parts, but where can I get the computer parts (the small parts)? I have tried my local recycle center and no success.. I’m on the verge of contacting an established computer craftsperson and cosigning to their business. . . Anyone with ideas or advice?.

  10. I bought a cycling light from the RockBrothers Official Store on AliExpress. It broke immediately after the time limit for opening a dispute, so I contacted the seller. After much arguing over whether or not I had used it in the rain, they finally agreed to send a new one, but only with m next order from the RockBrothers Offical Store. There is nothing in their store I need right now, and they do not offer free shipping, so I am basically screwed. It’s a shoddy product and shoddy service. And because of the AliExpress policy, I cannot write a review expressing my dissatisfaction.

  11. I have completely stopped ordering from AliExpress. Been ordering things in the past that never arrives and AliExpress automatically sides with the seller and their fake tracking ID. You can’t even complain or write negative feedback to warn others. Just stay away from this thief company!

  13. They are all scams, at first they didn’t want to send me my order but after 15 days I open despite with PayPal they sent me a Brocken very old part for my tablet, it’s very old and Brocken i can’t even use it

  14. AliExpress is not a trustworthy company if you have any kind of problem where you need a refund you cannot get your money back from this company I’ve been trying for months they owe me $119 this company is a scam straight garbage do not order from AliExpress.

  15. I’ve read a lot of negative reviews about Ali Express so I wouldn’t encourage anyone to shop there. So many scammers on that platform. Most of them claim to be shipping from China so you get fake tracking numbers, extremely lengthy delivery times, and unresponsive sellers once they have taken your money.
    Still waiting for two refunds from sellers which Ali Express say can take up to 20 or 30 days. I wish I had read the reviews before using them.

  17. Some of the sellers are scam and theif. They will say there items are out of stock. When you will respond to them the will never issue refund. Be aware of “Waiting For U Store” seller. Totally scam. Seller knows that customer can’t do anything. If you buy more than one product they will only mail out one and the cheapest one. Keep the money for expensive ones and never refund you your money back. Ali Express will close the dispute without refunding you. And there is no way to re-apply for dispute.

  18. looks like the odd are stacked against consumer. You can only leave feedback AFTER you agree you received the product (what if you didn’t and can’t resolved it with the seller ?) and make you do it then or up to 30 days which is unlikely to be long enough to give a real review (does the product last) – just because you received it and it works right now doesn’t mean much… mine broke after 12 uses which was 6 months. and then the article says the seller gets to see the review before it is approved ? what a joke…

  20. whenever I try to leave feedback on Ali Express it always says “You have entered illegal characters (Chinese Characters or special characters), please double check.” I have entered no chinese and take out all punctuation and still says it… what do I do??

  21. Why do sellers advertise a product, but show the price of another product as a different “color”. So incredibly misleading.

  22. Aliexpress seems to be supporting fake vendors that just take your money and do not deliver anything. All tracking information are fake or belong to other customers that eventually receive their goods.
    Customer service is irresponsive and their AI system is only based on guided questions and answers that do NOT help customers at all.
    It is overall a SCAM.
    I’m really negatively impressed by Alibaba and Aliexpress. I will make my voice heard!

  23. I bought several items and never recieved them. Then they refuse to give my a refund. It shows the items were delivered and they wasn’t.

    All items and there were 6 I ordered are nothing like photos.

    Cheap fabric…very badly made….all wrong size.

    Order sent to wrong address ….lucky the lady was honest who received them.

    Parcel incorrectly addressed.

    Sizes received a 12 an 18 a 16 and a 20.

    Wanted size 14 !!!!

  25. I want to report a seller for a product that was missing information that led to an injury. The seller has been nothing but rude, and I am considering suing the website is this doesn’t get resolved.

  26. Items were received broken, immediately got in touch with the seller and they agreed to refund. Strung the refund out past the 15 days that I was able to open a dispute then radio silence from them, no further responses. I cannot open a dispute, cannot get hold of the supplier, have broken unusable goods and am $650 out of pocket. So so angry! Do not ever purchase off AliExpress, its the biggest online have there is! Everything is stacked against the consumer and the sellers know this and use it to their advantage (such as stated above, prompting you to contact them directly rather than opening a dispute then nudging you past the cut-off date to open one, then they have you cornered)

  27. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE. I have waited FOUR MONTHS for a gift. No response or feedback and no response on my dispute. Also, there is no feedback button to give them. I have looked many times. Do not order here at all, ever. They are garbage.

  29. placed my first order with aliexpress. I wast told my order would take between 40 and 60 days. I was amazed to recieve my order in twelve days,and my sleeping bag ordered was perfect well packed. I am still in shock .totally amazing THANKYOU

  30. It is not true, there is no feedback section in AlliExpress , when you tried to chat it is circling you around and you never can give a feedback. I placed several orders within 2 years and got the merchandize, I had been charged and it took me 4 months to get the refund, it looks like the merchant charge for the goods they advertise but do not have and used money for something else until the customers get their money back, it looks like a scheme. I place an order, they charge me and then send the message that item does not exist any longer and then I can open a dispute, the dispute button does not exist and it takes months to get the money from the credit card. you never can get the customer service on line or on chat .

    • It literally takes you to the feedback page as soon as you click. Confirm you received goods. :0) and any time after that you are able to leave feedback. I have left feedback both good and bad. Depending on the third party seller I was buying from.

  31. I think it is ridiculous that you can only leave feedback after confirming that you received an order. I ordered and the order was delivered to the wrong address, so I cannot leave feedback even though they’re refusing to refund my money

  32. It’s frustrating that you can’t rate only the seller on a transaction. Sometimes I actually come across a good seller with great communication but my purchase got lost during shipping. I don’t want to rate the quality of an item I never received but I would like to give a seller an excellent review. It is super rare to come across a seller who immediately apologizes, offers a refund, and tells you to open a dispute.

    And for those saying AliExpress is a scam it really isn’t but I can see how it might seem that way if you only buy an item or two. It’s a numbers game. I order a lot and I think I only have to dispute a quarter of the time. That seems like a lot but if you learn the dispute process, how to keep accurate records, and collect proper evidence (pictures and screenshots!) then you always get your money back. In the beginning I lost some money because I didn’t understand how and when to dispute so I just gave up. To lessen your chances of trouble I recommend using browser extensions that rate the quality of stores. And don’t be too cheap when it comes to shipping. That’s the biggest cause of trouble.

    • Exactly. What they fail to realize is just like Amazon and Wish. You are buying from third party sellers. AliExpress will only step in if you haven’t received your goods after like 3 months. I had this issue once. And it went past my insurance date. But you could see it would be delivered 3 days after the date. So they refused to refund me even though it didn’t show up in the time frame. But I still got it. So…… you have to do research on the seller. Check reviews etc….. but I have had both good and bad experience here. As I have with Amazon and Wish so……..

  33. If you want to buy something reliable go somewhere else and buy non-chinese made/designed items. It’s always how china plays the game, they don’t care if they steal someone else hard earned money or step on someone’s toe.
    Don’t get me wrong I’m no racist, I’m part chinese who was born and raised in another country. Look at them try to claim and grab the Philippine islands which is obviously not theirs. Selfish (small) pricks.

    Alixpress is a scam. I bought something and i was suppossed to rexeive my package on september 29. Today is november 21 and i can not get my money back. And they do not give you a good answer. The saller gave me a DHL tracking number that only the label was created DHL never receive the package. Definetly Alixpress is a Scam. Not recomended
    Use ebay
    Use amazon
    They are better
    And Eva that is the customer service its a machine that always say tge samething. Eva never understand questions. Not Recomended

      We are sorry to hear about the issue. Aliexpress itself is s reliable website with a solid customer protection program. Some dishonest sellers find ways to cheat their customers though. So every Aliexpress customer should check the dispute rules if strictly follow them in case something goes wrong with an order. The dispute is a reliable procedure for getting refunds.
