1. For a temporary increase of the cash back rate
Such promo codes can have limits on the activation date (i.e. activate before Nov 1), time of use (i.e. valid for 3 months) and number of purchases (1, 5, etc.)
For example, if on July 10 you get a promo code that increases your level in the Megabonus Loyalty Program from Beginner to Treasurer that must be activated before July 15 and is valid within 10 days following the activation date, all you need is to activate it within 5 days (till July 15). Then during 10 days following the activation date, you will be able to make as many purchases with increased cash back (+40%) as you want.
2. For $1, $5, etc
Such a promo code is mainly used for crediting money to the account of the winners of our contests on social media. Such a promo code can also be given to a user that fulfills a targeted action (sharing our post on a social network, liking a post, etc.). In case the $1 you get through a promo code is the first cash back in your account, you will be able to withdraw it when you make at least one purchase of any cost.
